A.K. Sculthorpe Woodland Marsh

Parks, playgrounds, and trails open on the first Monday of May, weather permitting, and close on the first Monday of October. Any use prior to the opening date will be at your own risk.

The Waterfront Trail connects to the A.K. Sculthorpe Woodland Marsh. Inclusive of a partially groomed path and a boardwalk, the marsh offers views of Lake Ontario on one side and the natural beauty of the marsh on the other. The marsh is a beloved location for bird watchers, with a spectacular lookout area to view a wide assortment of species. Please remember to respect the wildlife.

Follow the Waterfront Trail through A.K. Sculthorpe Marsh to Gages Creek and search for sea glass, catch some sun, or immerse yourself in nature.

Pets must be on a leash at all times. Please remember to carry out any waste and/or use the animal waste disposal unit nearby the parking lot.
